| Bryce Brown. BTW whatever happened to Arthur Brown, his older brother who was at the U? He was also highly touted and LSU was in the mix for him too I believe. Joe McKnight surely didn't get the glory at USC he thought he would. Janzen Jackson was a train wreck at UT. Trent Richardson had an LSU hat on his decision day table I believe, but we really never had a shot, but he would have been one to get, although we are so deep at RB, I think Bama was a better landing spot for him as a feature back. Recruiting battle losses hurt far more at NSD than they do after playing out for 3 or 4 years. The on field losses are much greater for players we chose not to pursue or really didn't have a shot at. quote: No way. Joe had a productive career at USC. Was he all world and the next Reggie Bush, no. So maybe he didn't live up to the hype, but he certainly wasn't a bust. Reply Back to Top |
| seastrunk still could be good though Reply Back to Top |
| Lane was not a big time recruit like some of these other guys. He didn't sign here b/c we recruited much better signees that year. Not a biggie Reply Back to Top |
quote: He's tearing it up at Kansas St. He should be a top LB prospect in the 2013 draft. Reply Back to Top |
quote:i was so excited about him, and sucked to see him go to Tenn. Reply Back to Top |

quote: How could joe mcnight be the first person to come to your mind. He was not close to being a bust and had a 1000 yard season at USC. He was drafted and is still on an nfl roster. Just cause the kid didn't come to LSU and wasn't reggie bush number two doesn't make him a bust lol. Reply Back to Top |
| Bryce Brown and... Chris Davenport, many may not remember, he was a big time DT recruit for LSU... and now he's been moved to OT and hasn't seen the field for a snap Reply Back to Top |

| No kidding... A lot of stupidity in this thread. Reply Back to Top |
| I want to say Devon Kennard at USC, but I don't think the injury bug equates to being a bust. He's a Senior and healthy do he has the chance to really make some noise. BJ Scott and Tyler Love from Alabama Trey Blackmon at AU John Brantley at UF Cody Green at Nebraska Crist from ND Enrique Davis at Ole Miss I think all are good examples. Reply Back to Top |
| recently has to be Luther Davis. Joe Mcknight is still with the Jets. Not a bust. Lache Seastunk is going to be a Soph. Why is he a bust? Still has plenty of time to produce. This guy has nothing on Russel Sheppard's lack of being great. Although I do blame the QB situation we've had the last 3 years or so. Deandre Brown was a Freshman All American. Just had the bad broken leg. Reply Back to Top |
| Joe McKnight is not a bust. Everyone thought he was going to be the next Reggie Bush but never lived up to the expectations, but not a bust. Wasnt he in the Heisman talk? Janzen Jackson wasnt a bust. He was a stud his freshman year at UT but couldnt stay out of trouble. But his skills were all SEC caliber. Chris Davenport? Loston? Reply Back to Top |
| Didn't Joe McKnight win MVP of the Rose Bowl his freshman year? Reply Back to Top Refresh |
