re: Steel Toe Boots

Justin is by far my favorite brand of work boot. I have a pair that I bought for 95 bucks and have worn them everyday for going onto two years and just now seeing signs of wear. Also a very comfortable boot.they're not steel toe however

I paid about $130 for my Wolverines and like them. I got a pair of Timerland slip ons and they aren't as comfortable.

"Cheap" and "good steel toes" don't go together. If this is a pair of work boots you are going to wear daily it is worth the investment to get whatever is the most comfortable thing you can possibly get. I also got the $50 pair of Dr. Scholls custom fit orthotics from wal-marks for mine and they've helped with the comfort too.

The ones i have now are definitely the best work boots ive ever owned. They have lasted me an entire year which is incredible for me and they are also more comfortable than my tennis shoes.

Ive had a few pairs of georgias that were tough as hell but were very uncomfortable.

I wear wolverines its gives you the best bang for your buck IMO. Its a good durable boot for a decent price. As far as the most comfortable, its all about what fits your foot the best.

Me too. Whatever you do get some good insoles, they make shitty boots feel good. I'm getting some superfeet insoles for my new boots I just got.

My brother swears by them by I bought one pair for like $180 if I remember right (it was a few pairs of boots a go I may be off on the price but I remember it being high) they were uncomfortable as shite and wore out within about 6-8 months. I wear my boots every single day 365 days a year and I need a boot that can hold up for everyone of those 365 days so wolverine wasn't for me. My brother works offshore and wears them half a year and swears by them so its all about what you are looking for in your boot and how they fit your foot. No one can absolutely tell you what the beat boot out there is

Best advice I can give is DO NOT go cheap. The damn boots are heavy enough, discomfort is not what you want. Academy probably is the best place for decent prices. Doc Martin, Wolverine, and Rocky all make decent slip ons. I'd spend a little money and get some upper end boots, Tony Lama, Ariat, and most other brands make some really comfortable boots. Just like anything else, you get what you pay for.

This

I have these, they are Wolverine Worx

They fleece lined and rated for up to negative 20 degrees. OP might not be needing to worry about cold temps, but the job I had in Arkansas I worked graveyard and in the winter shite gets cold, cold at night. Best investment I ever made in work gear.

I have some Wolverines from Academy, found the sizing to be way off though. Not super comfortable. I wish I would have spent a little more and gotten the Doc Marten or Red Wings.

Had some and hated them. Felt like bricks on my feet.

Red Wings.

About the same as Wolverines, just last a little longer. Have had many pairs of them.
