Laremy Tunsil info. Posted by gatordmb89 I read tonight on UF's 247 site that Tunsil is originally from Louisiana, has multiple family members that currently live there, and that includes his father. LSU is currently in his top 5 as well. When asked about why LSU is in his top 5 he referred to their recent success and family. Reply Back to Top
Thanks, brah Reply Back to Top
What is he? Where does he rank IN YOUR OPINION? Reply Back to Top
Big time OT with a lot of offers. Would be a great get. Reply Back to Top
Best OT prospect in the country imo and a future Gator. We'll probably get a visit and that never hurts but the kid has never hidden his affection for the Gators. Imo only 2 schools could steal him and that's Bama(are they ever really out of a recruitment) and FSU(instate school and some tactics always make thes kind of battles interesting) but the Gators are going to be tough to beat. Only possible help is the fact that DJ Humphries is likely to be a 3 year starter before jetting to the pros. Reply Back to Top
He won't come to Bama. We may get a visit just like LSU, but if he goes anywhere besides UF it will probably be FSU. Reply Back to Top
I feel the same but you always have to throw Bama in there because they never give up on a kid and some strange things can happen in December/January when Saban and company start visiting in person and focusing in on the kids hard. Reply Back to Top
That's true. But it is a complete long shot at this point. We want to take 5 or 6 OL this year and we already have 3. I think we want to add Tyrone Crowder and Kenneth Santa Marina for those last two spots. Reply Back to Top
When is Tunsil going to commit? If he waits til the end of the season, you never know what another bad season from Florida and a strong season for LSU can do for him Reply Back to Top
Sorry not dmb but if I had to guess he looks like the kind of guy that will take all of his visits and make a late decision, either at one of the All Star games or on NSD. It is recruiting and every team that gets a visit will have a shot, but it is very difficult to get a kid that grew up a long time fan of a certain team, even if the results of that team aren't very good lately. It is recruiting and anything could happen though so who knows. Reply Back to Top

quote: Without a doubt he's the #1 player in Florida. Should be the #2 player in the Nation behind Nkedichme IMO. Reply Back to Top |
I thought Laremy was from Wyoming? Reply Back to Top
I think Tunsil is a great talent and easily top 10 but I have at least 4 higher at this point. Imo it's not debatable who #1 and #2 are. The only debate between 1 and 2 is should Foster be ahead of Nkemdiche. 1 Nkemdiche 2 Foster but I think he's closer to 1 than 3 3 Sua Cravens 4 Jaylon Smith- this kid could get all the way to #2 imo. Beast. 6'3 215 a legit 4.4 and played CB at an event yesterday 5 Tunsil/Montravious Adams. Depends on which position you prefer. Reply Back to Top
OT's with Tunsil's size/feet don't grow on trees. That's why I've him at #2, but that's JMO. Reply Back to Top
I could see MacKensie Alexander earning a top 5 spot as well. A lot of people praise Hargreaves as the best CB in Florida but IMO Alexander is more physical. They are both phenomenal players but I would put Alexander above Hargreaves. Reply Back to Top
Hargreaves plays so technically sound and has ridiculous closing speed. I like Alexander's upside more, but IMO VH3 is better right now. Reply Back to Top
Exactly. Tunsil is built a lot like CyKo and Humphries. All 3 will be fantastic OT's and future 1st rounders. Reply Back to Top
UGA has a good shot with Tunsil as well. They will have to convince momma though. However, they certainly have what he wants- early playing time. Reply Back to Top Refresh
