quote: Jack is a dick. Made an arse out of himself imo when he made it his personal mission to not allow Casey Martin to ride in a cart while his leg was rotting off. Martin was just an average golfer, the decision either way was handled by the PGA. Nicklaus should have left it alone. Bobby Jones This post was edited on 4/7 at 2:17 pm Reply Back to Top |
| Not the classiest of all time, but Payne Stewart sticks out for me among modern guys. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Jack was well known for his class. He even conceded a Ryder Cup match once the Euro's had already clinched. The Casey Martin thing was an interesting issue. I think that everyone would allow Casey to ride in a cart, but where do you draw the line? After Casey, some other dude would have tried to ride in a cart cause he had arthritis, or twisted his ankle, or his doctor prescribed him as "big boned". The NBA didn't give me a special exemption cause I'm only 5'10 and can't jump. Reply Back to Top |

| Tom Watson Think Bruce Edwards and he quit a country club in Kansas City because they were anti Semitic. This post was edited on 4/7 at 2:33 pm Reply Back to Top |
