| I'm not an archery expert by any means, but I went and shot quite a few and ended up buying a PSE Brute for $500 (close to $800 after arrows, broadheads, field points, release, target, case, etc) and I can't imagine a bow being a whole lot better. Go to Bowie or Cabela's/Bass Pro and shoot a few and find one you like in your price range. I had originally planned on spending a little more on one, but couldn't see enough difference in the more expensive ones to justify dropping more cash on them. Reply • Back to Top |

I would check out a used bow for your first one as can pick one up fully rigged out for about half the cost to get in the game, as once your hooked your hooked! Then buy a Bowtech! | Do what they said and go to a shop and shoot all they have that fit you.I bought a PSE X Force 3 weeks ago after shooting everything they had in my price range.I went in to shoot the Brute and itw as out of stock.I bought a new 2011 model for right at half price.Are you in the Hammond area?
