Barrett Jeremy Johnson Riley Ferguson or none of the above. we will get somebody that is a no name that blows up senior year.. Or just somebody else that is not listed who you really feel will be apart of the class. This post was edited on 4/4 at 12:21 pm Reply Back to Top |
| well if Auburn never offers johnson, I guess he will be one. Outside of him, Mitch, Barrett, Bateman in that order. Reply Back to Top |
| whats the story on Bateman? I havent followed his recruitment. Reply Back to Top |
| I think Johnson is the top priority, but if he winds up at Auburn like most suspect, I think it will be J.T. Barrett and one of Connor Mitch/Riley Ferguson/Cooper Bateman. Reply Back to Top |
| I dont know alot about him. He visited for our spring game and liked it. He's from Utah and with Mett here (hopefully good QB production) and Krag recruiting QBs for us, I feel like we have a shot. Reply Back to Top |
| Just curious - why no devante kincade? Reply Back to Top |
| Cord Sandberg could also be a option. His mom is from BR. I like his film. Id be happy with either JT,Connor,or Cord. Reply Back to Top |
| If I had to bet about a QB right now, I would say J.T. Barrett. I think we are in great standing with Conner Mitch, however, I'm just not sure about the distance factor. This post was edited on 4/4 at 4:15 pm Reply Back to Top |

| Same here Drunk. Mitch is my favorite but I really do not know how good our chances are with all the Carolina pressure he will have. Reply Back to Top |
| I've got another vote here for Mitch. His film looked great. Mechanics and footwork are excellent for a junior. Reply Back to Top |
| J.T. IMO ,,,, Reply Back to Top |
| i really want connor mitch. i feel like that guy's got potential Reply Back to Top |
| I'd like Mitch and Kincade....something tells me should take a chance on Kincade Reply Back to Top |
| I want J.T. Barrett Reply Back to Top |
quote: meh, last thing i want right now is another dual threat qb Reply Back to Top |
| You people just need to quit with this Kincade stuff ... you want Kincade go look at our roster his name is Jerrard Randall. We need a QB thats is a strong passer and is in a pro style offense in high school ala Mitch,Johnson,Bateman,Cody Thomas. Do you guys really want to see short side read option anymore?? | no, connor mitch all the way Reply Back to Top |
| Cody Thomas is the best we are recruiting right now in my opinion Reply Back to Top |
| The question wasn't what type of qb do you want or think we need it was which QB do you think we'll land. The fact that most of us want a true pro style qb is irrelevent. Les wants a dual threat and will get one. He may get a pro style as well but every qb that has visited us other than Mitch spoke to the fact that Les told them he wanted a qb that can run. Johnson and Barrett are 1a and 1b on the board. What does that tell you? We'll take a dual threat. Imo Barrett will be the #1 guy. Do think we'll take 2 but have no idea who it will be. I'd prefer Mitch as the #2 guy but I get the feeling Bama is going to give him a commitable offer and he'll go there. Kincaide is nothing like Randall aside from skin color and the fact that he can run. Randall has a howitzer for an arm and Kincaide has a solid arm. Kincaide has much better mechanics and is much more accurate. Randall is the more talented of the 2 but he is the stereotype for spread option qb types. Runner with a cannon arm but questionable mental capabilities and not accurate. Kincaide is what a successful spread QB looks like. Smart, well coached leader that just makes the plays necessary to win games. He reminds me a lot of Darron Thomas with better passing skills at the same stage.Probably never a major NFL prospect but a better college player than the kid with the NFL tools.
