| The April 30th payment deadline I set for Thunder n' Lightnin' is coming close and I still have not received the $25. Obviously, he will lose access to his team if he does not pay by then. I was wondering how you guys are interested in handling this. We can choose to lock his roster and his current roster active, but locked. We can lock his roster and bench all of his players. We can lock his roster and drop all of his players (not really, this would be a huge shitstorm).  On the other hand, we can find a replacement owner if they are interested. Unfortunately, this team is not exactly the cream of the crop. I can try to find someone on TD to hop on as owner, but that seems pretty unlikely. One option could be to offer a prorated entry fee, such as $20, because this new owner did not get to participate in the draft or in April. Another could be for someone to take over the team for free, but they cannot win any money. I am just throwing all the ideas out there. As of now, my current course of action would be to lock his team, but keep his players active while we search for a new owner (shoot for someone to pay $25, but I think the prorated idea could work, especially cause the new owner would be behind in the start). If we cannot find a new owner, then I would bench all of his players. However, I want to leave his locked players active in order to not screw over the new owner. Please let me know what you think. | I would hate to lock his team and place them all on the bench. Therefore, leaving no access to be able to acquire quality players like Bourn, Pedroia, Votto, Panda, etc.... See if you can't find someone for $20 or even $15 buy in. Reply • Back to Top |
