re: Zolia Bistro Baton Rouge Maybe it doesn't photograph well, but it doesn't look too appetizing to me. Reply Back to Top
It's a Louis deangelo restaurant. I like deangelos pizza but their other menu items are lacking. I'm not sure why this place would any different. Reply Back to Top
Thanks. Multiple Rohans confuse me! Reply Back to Top

Finally gave it a second try for lunch yesterday. I can report that they have apparently given up the order at the counter and bring the food to your table based on a number they give you disaster. We had a waitress who brought us food and drink and took orders. Made for a faster, smoother, and better overall experience. The sandwich was pretty good, though not world shattering. Just wanted to report they appear to have the service issues under control (by a complete re-config) and the smokiness that was a problem last time was not noticeable this time. Well done, Zolia--seemingly evolving in the right direction. Reply Back to Top
I heard that the time to go is at night, for the tapas. I wanted to go tonight, but found that they're only open M-F Plan on checking it out Monday eve. I'll report back with my findings. Reply Back to Top
I work very near the place and like it more and more. I never had anything from there other than a salad until about 3 or 4 weeks ago; opened beginning of the year I think. Breakfast wraps are great and I've had all of them, as are other take out items. I've only eaten one sit down meal; got just a blue cheese wedge with shrimp but it was excellent--but that's hard to screw up. I'm also on a big time diet so I'm not getting the good stuff. Coworkers like it more an more. I'd defiantly give it a shot. Man, that's a shitty review on my part. Check it out though. Reply Back to Top Refresh
