I had to take an unexpected trip out of town for the last 2 days to visit my brother and his wife while she was busy popping out their first kid. Even without my normal bit of food and eating out the last 2 days I came back under my last weigh in, so that was pretty awesome, all things considered. Still in the freaking 260's though which is stupid.

Actually I had done nothing wrong at all and had a normal fluctuation to 260. That post was Friday, before any bad stuff consumed.

That being said, yesterday I cracked a little and had 15 hot wings and 3 or 4 captain and diets But I've had a really long weekend and today's only been worse..

So I stepped on the scale this morning and it showed up 257.4 at which point I ever so briefly got excited before thinking, well that seems a bit low. So I hopped off and back on, next reading 258.6. So I took a shower and came back a 3rd time and got my 3rd different reading for the morning. A new scale is on the way, now.

That's happened to me before. I thought I'd lost 8 pounds in a week or something, then I got a really weird reading of like 60 pounds, so I weighed a few times and realized I had a bad scale.. talk about deflating

yeah, this thing has been giving me multiple readings for quite some time, and I'm just sick of it. New one should be here thursday (thanks amazon prime). I will probably weigh on my old one first and then hop on to the new one to get some idea of the difference between the two and go from there.

My scale does little fluctuations as well when I weigh in the mornings. But It'd be like 295 then 295.6 then 295.6 again so that doesn't bother me too much. As long as it's consistent and over time the number deminishes then I'm cool. Just glad to say I'm under 300 right now.

At work someone brought in Baum's bakery. Had 2 tiny cookies then immediately felt guilty. My punishment? Mow the yard, jumprope 10 minutes, then workout tonight
