Had a great weekend of eating healthy. Very proud of myself. They brought in King Cake after King Cake to work and I never touched them! It paid off for me, the scale was 3 pounds lighter today!

Now I'm at the pesky weight I was at about a year or so ago when I was still in college working out a lot. I could never get below 230 so this is where I know it will get tough

Got a good 45 minute walk in this morning. I was supposed to hit the gym yesterday but I was exhausted from the night before so I skipped it. I plan on going tonight after work.

Congrats.

During my long run this weekend, I hit the "wall". It was only at mile 15, which is a bad sign. After talking with a few folks about what I was doing, we have developed the following plan. I have to switch from eating ~1,600 cals a day to ~2,000 a day. On days before and after a long run I need at least ~2,500. With all this new intake I do not think I will see any drops in weight for a while. I believe I will drop a few more from the running just at a slower pace.

Roast beef, meatball, cheeseburger, hot sausage and muffalettas. Also a little chicken and sausage gumbo.

Since I started measuring on Jan. 18th, I've lost 1" around my chest, 1" off of my hips, 2" off my waist, 1" off of my calves, 1" off of my forearms, and 1" off of my neck, for a total size loss of 7 inches. Yet my bathroom scale still hasn't shown me a net loss... lame.
