Less than 24-hours after ruling LSU running back Derrius Guice out for Saturday's game vs. Syracuse, head coach Ed Orgeron announced that the junior will in fact play against the Orange.

Orgeron announced the news after practice on Thursday.

I'm sure Guice convinced Coach O he was good to go. The kid wants to play! Great attitude!

That's saying a lot considering our last coach

Miles had incoherent sentences, but you kind of understood what he meant and he stuck with it. O just went from "highly questionable" a day ago and now all of a sudden he plays?

This is why I wouldn't even worry about mentioning injuries. You aren't going to satisfy this fanbase so just keep it to yourself until game day. Unless it's serious don't even mention them. People will assume the worst anyway so just keep it real with your team and that's really all Ed O should be concerned with. Wins don't even please these fans. Hate our fanbase when things get tough they turn on you. Miles consistently played bad offense, Ed O hasn't consistently done a damn thing at LSU to really judge him on.

Liking your way of thinking, BayouBengal99. Keeping it real for the real fans and potential recruits who are reading this. They need to know that LSU is a special place, and with a little patience, can be a contender again soon!

So glad the injury isn't that bad. I hope the scheme and script Canada made this week in planning without him doesn't change. Spread it around thru the air. Jacoby Stevens was getting some looks at H back... get that fricker some touches.
