Baseball: LSU Awaits Its Regional Fate

The LSU Baseball team will find out soon if their season will be extended for at least one more week. The Tigers (36-20) will be vying for one of 64 spots in the 16 Regionals. Teams will be announced on Monday at 11:30am CT on ESPN.

Despite having a losing record in the SEC and not getting invited to the SEC Tournament, LSU still has a strong chance to make a regional due to its high RPI ranking (No. 23).

Some writers are predicting that LSU will be the No. 3 seed in either the College Station or Houston Regionals. Stay tuned...
