According to The Wall Street Journal, LSU led the nation as the highest ranked draft class for 2014.
quote:

The Count assessed each school's draft performance by awarding them points for each of the 256 draftees (256 points for the No. 1 overall pick, 255 for No. 2 and so on). With a nation-best nine draftees—led by receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who went 12th to the New York Giants—Louisiana State came out on top. Second-best was Notre Dame, which had eight players selected. (Alabama also had eight, but their players were picked lower.) The Fighting Irish have now had 14 picks in the past two years combined.

This is actually annoying. I wish we had placed 20th and had some players staying like other schools.

Rivals has NOT had LSU in their top 5 recruiting classes except for once in 5 years (don't think the other recruiting sites have either). Bama has had the #1 recruiting class for four years in a row, and yet Miles has put more players in the NFL than Saban. That is a result of player development, and nobody does it better than LSU. I only wish we had had Coach Cam in 2011.

If LSU were not on this list & ND were at the top, LSU fans would be making fun of them for the "moral victory."
But since LSU is top of the list, it's GREAT.
There's only one column on that chart that should matter.

So wait, what you guys are saying is your Coaching staff blows, right?

That's all you can be saying by putting that much talent in the NFL and continuously being irrelevant at the end of the year.
