Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports
Athon Sports ranked all 128 College Football coaching jobs for 2014 and LSU came in at Number 9. Here is the Top 10:

1. Texas
2. Florida
3. Alabama
4. USC
5. Ohio State
6. Oklahoma
7. Notre Dame
8. Georgia
9. LSU
10. Michigan

Here is what they had to say about LSU:

Pros: It’s become a bit of a cliché, but there really is nothing like being in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night in the fall. That environment is one reason the Tigers are able to recruit so well. The other? The state of Louisiana is arguably the most underrated talent producer in the nation.

Cons: LSU has so much going for it, but why have so many coaches failed to win at a high level in Baton Rouge? From 1971 though 2000, the Tigers only won one outright SEC championship, in 1986 under Bill Arnsparger.

Final Verdict: It’s hard to find a reason why LSU would not be a desirable coaching position. Sure the competition is tough and the fans are demanding, but that comes with the territory. The school has won two national titles in the past 11 seasons.

LSU is number one if you can survive the crazy fans which means you have to win the Ncs at least every other year'Coach miles is only there because he is miracle worker!

This survey is stuck in the pasts. No way that in this day and age that ND, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma or Ohio State for that matter should be ranked any further up than LSU. The Big 10 is weak and the state of Oklahoma doesn't touch Louisiana in talent pool. OU must go outside of Oklahoma to compete in recruiting. ND has been average for the last 20 years.

Florida at #2 and Georgia at #8 are too high. Solid jobs no doubt but no way you put them there, especially Florida.

I don't understand why Oklahoma and Georgia are as high as they are, but it is Athlon.
