Over the last couple of years, there has been a lot of talk about the pay-to-play debate in collegiate athletics.

On Wednesday at the SEC Media Day in Hoover, AL, senior LSU running back Terrence Magee was asked about the idea of college athletes being paid. Here is what he had to say:

Couldn't agree more with Terence, he makes a great and valid point here. I admire that he appreciates the value of a good and free education, while playing football "for some of the best fans."

I'm sure that every player would appreciate having more spending money but those guys who have their eyes on the nfl are a little less worried about it than the guys at programs that don't expect the same level of commitment.
