When the New York Giants drafted LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, they landed a new fan in Shaquille O'Neal.

Here is Shaq giving a shout out to Beckham on during the "Inside the NBA" broadcast on TNT:

Odell Sr, who played football for the Tigers, was roommates with Shaq when they both attended LSU in the early 90s. The Beckham's and Shaq have remained close over the years.

Shaq knows he's still a Cowboys fan. One of my partners asked me if I was conflicted that an LSU Alumni was lighting us up. I said nah, I was proud of him but Eli will be El and we'll win. Congrats OBJ and thanks Eli Ma. Hang with us Shaq - it's a wild ride.
