Don't blame Ted, it's not uncommon to see sight deficiency in the offspring of incestuous relationships. Go easy on him.

GeauxTigerTM, it is not about Circling the wagons. It is about knowledge and experience in all 3 professions that you lambast. Your ignorance shows as you have no idea what is involved in each job. As also being an educator for close to 20 years, and a friend to numerous law enforcement professionals, we are dedicated and committed to what we do and have the desire to our jobs right. Perhaps, you are part of the "Sports Bar Hero Crowd" which are people with limited or absolutely no real knowledge of the games being played and will pontificate from their bar stool with no desire to remove one's posterior from that stool.

I'm gonna go ahead and allow the fact that you got this hot about my simple observation to reply like this stand on it's own. I will only add thanks for proving my point. There are countless other professions which are dedicated and committed to their jobs and who are far better at accepting criticism when the do a poor job at it. For whatever reason, the thee I pointed out NEVER are, and when any criticism does arise, it's met with the suggestion that ONLY those in that profession have any clue what they're talking about and all others should kindly sit down and shut up. A bit of advice I'm sure all three take themselves when criticizing all other professions... On second thought, I guess I did want to respond.

Pavoloco83, the only fool is you. Both Cam Newton and Peterson are great players. Neither is a fool nor has either made the other look like a fool.

Double Down, LSU was actually down by 6 at the time. There was no guarantee that LSU would have gone down and scored at the time. You are correct and it was a 50/50 call. In my opinion as a game official, the call could have gone either way.

"In my opinion as a game official, the call could have gone either way." The only two professions that knight for their fellows as much as sports officials are police and school teachers. No other professions circle the wagons so predictably...

In no universe was this a 50/50 call. That said, I had little to no faith that LSU was going to drive down the field to win the game. Either way, one of the worst, most obvious missed calls I've ever seen. And they even reviewed it. Still baffling.
