Highly recruited LSU defensive tackle Travonte Valentine could finally find his way onto the field this fall, according to head coach Les Miles.

Valentine was apart of LSU's 2014 recruiting class but has yet to play due to academic eligibly issues.

Miles talked about Valentine at an LSU Luncheon in Houston on Tuesday, and said that things have been positive relating to his status. Per NOLA.com:
quote:

"He is still pursuing the end of the semester and working hard," Miles on Tuesday during the LSU Luncheon with The Touchdown Club of Houston. "Everything that I know has been positive as of late."
We will have to wait and see what happens...

Valentine will play once the hunt for the Loch Ness monster has concluded. He will ride a unicorn down a rainbow and take the field, crushing the competition like Big Foot.
