Multiple sources are reporting that LSU wide receiver and former QB Rob Bolden is planning on transferring to another school. Per Nola.com:

LSU senior wide receiver Rob Bolden will transfer to another school prior to the 2014 season, a source close to LSU said Monday. Bolden transferred to LSU as a quarterback from Penn State two years ago.

Bolden, a 6-feet-4, 208-pounder from Detroit, was moved from quarterback to wide receiver last spring but was not expected to have an impact in 2014. Possible landing places include Central Michigan or Eastern Michigan, the source said. Bolden played little in LSU's spring game in April and caught one pass for 37 yards.
With Bolden transferring LSU only has two scholarship quarterbacks for the 2014 season, sophomore Anthony Jennings and freshman Brandon Harris.

Pray that we don't ruin these two young men like we did Jefferson and Lee

Wow...my goodness..It could be no worse this year than "deer in the headlights" Jefferson...I think these guys left have some degree of team leadership at the very least...and read this at the end of the season, either one will be as good or better than AJ was at bama...

"We are now OFFICIALLY two brutal hits away from starting a walk-on at QB"

Or 2 undisciplined "bad" decisions by a teenage boy...... I'm hoping we'll be ok, but remember that by the end of the season in '08 we were down to what would've been our 4th string QB (Jefferson) after disciplinary actions (Perrilloux) and injuries (Hatch sustained broken bone and Lee had severe ankle sprain).

How in the world is he still in college? He's approaching Matt Jones level of college longevity.

If both Harris and Jennings go down in the same season, we are screwed anyway.

A walk-on QB led us to the national title in '03

Calm down Sally....any team who loses their top 2 qbs is NOT dreaming of winning anything substantial.

BTW, our "walk -on" received all conference honors at the same JUCO Mett attended. Its not like he's some wet behind the ears high school kid walking on to LSU. In may ways he WAY better than having a freshman schooly guy as 3rd string...He is WAY WAY WAY better than Bolden would be. Learn to trust the guys that run our show!

Magee will be the emergency QB.

I wonder how well he can pass?
