Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
NOLA.com is reporting that the 2014 matchup between LSU and Alabama is the second most expensive college football game ticket in the secondary market for this upcoming season, according to Vivid Seats in its 2014 college football tickets report.
quote:

The median price of the Tigers and Tide game set for Nov. 8 in Tiger Stadium is $494, second only to the Nov. 29 Michigan-Ohio State, whose media price is $561. The average price of a secondary market ticket to the LSU-Bama game is $561 and the get-in price is $261. The Iron Bowl was third in median and average price at $488 and $547, but was second in get-in price at $285.
The Thanksgiving Day matchup between LSU and Texas A&M on Thanksgiving Day is the sixth most expensive game with a $365 median price, $384 average and $156 get-in.

Redneck math, but $494 median price per ticket X 102,321 capacity = $50,546,574.00
I know average ticket price is lower, but sales will still probably hit $50 million with concessions, etc.

This is great! Now nothing but a bunch of corporate jackasses will be there only to leave the game early as usual. No matter the score.

I have 4 season tickets and you can get in every game for 3000 if you buy mine.

Good luck with that.

Lol I'll pay $60 bucks for a Bama ticket. If you pay more than that you are an idiot. BTG always has handfuls of tickets on game day. Just watch out for them on their bikes.

I'll be there. This game was the main reason I bought season tickets. FYI I paid $360 for each season ticket x4. This game will set a new attendance record. Geaux Tigers.

No way either team is undefeated actually. LSU will win in BR though.

And then print the shirts.

If they're both undefeated, I'll be selling!! Was offered $4k for 1/9 tix. & passed. No way in making that mistake again!

Who is Will Blackwell?

Will Blakcnell is upset Les Miles doesn't have us as the number 1 ticket.

Let November 8th come with 2 undefeated teams, and we will reclaim most expensive ticket title!
