Michigan led the country with an average of 111,592. Alabama (101,505), Tennessee (95,584) and Georgia (92,746) were the only SEC schools to finish ahead of LSU. All three have stadiums with larger capacities.

The top 10 streak dates to 2000 when LSU was No. 5 in the nation. LSU has averaged over 90,000 fans in Tiger Stadium for the past 13 years, which includes a school-record of 92,868 during the 13-0 regular season in 2011. LSU expanded tiger Stadium with an East side upper deck in 2000.
Capacity in Tiger Stadium will come close to 100,000 once the South Endzone upper deck is completed for the 2014 season.

that's only paid. Its a little (ok a lot) misleading when they don't ever consider actual attendance falls way short. In reality the actual attendance has never topped 90k and on many, many occasions it was likely well under 80k.
