Once again, these were not threats. Just an opportunity for Elmer Fudd to get the attention shifted elsewhere (away from his lack of leadership). He had a good run. Now turn the page

"I bleed Purple and Gold, LSU is my life, man," Harvey Williams LSU 5th all time rusher said. "At the end of the day, Les Miles and Cammy-Cam (offensive coordinator Cam Cameron) need to be run out of Baton Rouge, like them ol' Frankenstein movies with torches and all that. Everybody in Baton Rouge ought to light a torch. "We sat there and watched this last year. After the third play of the (Wisconsin) game, I knew it was the same thing. It's not fair to all those kids out there. If Billy Cannon were dead right now, he'd be rolling in his grave. I feel like I'm watching the '56-'57 football team that was running like a 1920 offense." On why LSU struggles passing the ball: "It's about practice. You create an environment so hostile for that kid (starting quarterback Brandon Harris), you make a practice a lot harder than the games. You can't put that (Wisconsin) loss on that kid. You've got to put that on Cam Cameron. What does Cam Cameron make, $1.5 million? (Actually, it's $1.3 million). He ought to give $1.2 of it back."

Miles/Cam were ScapeGoating their 1st OOC WISC loss on BH. WISC was another Coaching/Scheme failure, no Tempo/Spread to get LF into open space. 50 plays was last in the FBS, and the Total O was 116th. The only Off TD was off the 2nd INT - 49 yds, 2 passes to LF - 31 yds, and Dural in 18 secs using HUNH. WISC got their 1st FG off Guice's fumble, the margin in the game. Miles did not open the O as promised. He has been the least spread, most predictable, slowest O 3 yrs in a row, ranking 119th, and 120th in Pass ATTS. __________________________________________________________________________ The Miles O, regardless of QB, failed to put up 20 pts vs 4 SEC and a Power 5 team because of no Tempo or Spread. Miles' Heisman campaign for LF was the cause of the loss at WISC. LF was dinged up w/a pre-season high ankle sprain and had 11 carries for 35 yds lst Half, 0 TDs in the game, and aggravated his injury. Running LF into a stacked box is risking his future. Miles own coaches begged him not to do that vs ALA, ARK. Hand off to Leonard Heisman Ball cost us 5 WRs: Dupre/Dural said no QB or wide receiver would come here if they knew it was 80/20 run. After the ALA game all Les said is "Everyone will get another chance to block for Leonard". Spears was calling for Miles to be fired for breaking his promise to open the O. ____________________________________________________________________ 1st in the SEC Ranked #2 in the CFP: Harris at 7-0, w/0 INTS/0 fumbles, was 68%, in his 1st 4 SEC games (MSST,AUB-3-TDS,SCAR-2-TDs,FLA-2-TDs)averaging 40 pts/game. The SCAR game set a record with 627 yds of Offense run from a run-pass-read-option, 83 plays. Harris said "This is the winning formula. We're 5-0 and people are complaining," said Harris, who had a career-high 18 completions on 28 attempts. "We've got four great backs and six great receivers and I'm just trying to do my part."

QPQ, can't imagine how Etling has done so well, then. BH is not an SEC caliber talent at Qb. Sorry but it's time to face facts. They simplified the offense as much as they could and he still didn't execute. LSU is a far better team with Etling and a blind man could see that.

"BH is not an SEC caliber talent, they simplified the O" are you an effing Parrot? Squawk! Got a Link? "Done so well": It is not about Etling and his limited softball stats. Etling has played fine for a QTR against FCS JVS and a half vs MSST, sacked once and fumbled, 1 INT, no QB hurries.

Miles/Cam are responsible: Coaching/Scheme was the cause of the WISC loss: No Tempo/Spread - BH was 7-0 last yr never trailing in a game and set scoring records as a FR running a spread option O w/63 pts on 9 drives - 100% Scoring Efficiency. At WISC he was back under center behind an injured O-Line, was Sacked 3 times and hurried 8 times and made the Scapegoat as was Dupre who was mauled by double and triple coverage out of 2 WR sets. LF was dinged up w/a pre-season high ankle sprain, had 11 carries for 35 yds lst Half, 0 TDs in the game, and aggravated his injury. It was ALA/ARK/OM redux, using LF as a human wrecking ball is risking his future. "Kiffin and Saban (^everyone) are a little smarter, they don't just line up and run at you regardless". WISC has the #1 Scoring Def allowing 13.5 pts/gm. Miles 3 straight SEC losses were the 1st since Dinardo got fired for it in 1999 & the 99-37 margin worst since 1966. Averaging 16 pts over 5 reg season games, failing to score 20 pts is a record, period. He is scoreless in the 4th Qtr of all 3 games this yr, managing only 1 TD in the JVS in the 3rd, and scoreless in the 2nd half of the MSST game, so his Win It In The 4th left in 2011. Miles/Cam are 9-9 SECW 14-10 SEC over the last 3 yrs with the #2 SEC and #5 FBS Roster - finishing 14th, Unranked, and 17th AP Top 25. That is the worst Coaching vs Talent Gap in the Top 25.

we all agree that death threats are terrible, but come on, it's only a very, very tiny fraction of people doing this nonsense. They're not serious, just imbeciles. Shrug it off and move on.

I've had childish aholes tell me to go kill myself (kys) on the rant before because I didn't agree with their ignorance. Just a stupid comment from a stupid person, nothing more.

I truly believe Harris is too good of an athlete to just leave on the bench. We haven't see the last of him.

LSU fans turn on their own players like it's nobody's business. Jefferson, Lee, Jennings, Harris, etc.... the fans turned on all of em. I don't know who gave LSU fans this sense of entitlement but when it gets to the point that you dislike a college kid that much then you really need to reevaluate your life.

The turn on their coaches too.

It isn't like BH wasn't trying to win that game. No player at any level of any sport deserves to be treated like this unless they do something to provoke it. Everyone wants to win, but at the end of the day it is just a game.

I think it's a stretch to equate telling someone that they should go drink bleach to death threats. No one should be tweeting either at a college kid, but using this logic you could say the average OT thread contains 5 death threats.

Any idiot sending death threats to a college kid doing his best to be a good QB at LSU or any other university, community college, or high school needs to get a grip on life and are idiots. I wish him the best in assuming his role as a backup QB. LSU may need him if Etling gets hurt (which I don't wish for). TLDR: GROW THE frick UP!
