Former LSU star and current Arizona Cardinals pro-bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson underwent successful ankle surgery this week to fix an injury he suffered during the regular season. Per NFL.com:

Peterson suffered a right-ankle injury against the Bengals on Nov. 23, according to the Arizona Republic, and he underwent surgery earlier this week and might be able to participate at some point in organized team activities.
Peterson sent out the following tweet on Wednesday saying that the surgery went well.
