The only team ESPN will rank ahead of Bama is outside of the SEC: you guessed it, Ohio St. And possibly USC. They are in love with these 2 teams and always will be. What surprises me is they ranked LSU as high as #6! Amazing! I don't understand the love that Auburn is getting in these meaningless polls. What have they got that I don't know about?

Why would any team in the SEC be ranked above Bama in any recent preseason polls?

Bama loses too much on Defense is the reason I believe they are dropping.

The computer algorithms must be messed up. Alabama is not ranked #1 on something put out by ESPN. Something is very wrong, the SEC office will be calling on this one for sure.

ESPN lives here and when all sources point to Bama # 1 in EVERYTHING - time to tap the brakes. Upsets viewers and we turn off the four letter network, especially for the racially charged new 6 pm Sportscenter.

Wait, so you're telling me that ESPN doesn't have Alabama #1? Thought I'd seen everything, but guess I was wrong.
