ESPN has ranked LSU running back Jeremy Hill as the 12th best player in the SEC in 2013. The ranking is based solely on performance during the 2013 season, and is based on how players performed in key games and clutch situations. Hill is the third LSU player to be ranked in the top 25 as Jarvis Landry was ranked 19, and Odell Beckham Jr. was ranked 16 . A new player from the SEC is selected each day. Here is what they had to say about Hill:

After returning to the lineup against UAB, Hill rushed for at least 100 yards in seven of the remaining 11 games, finishing the fall with 1,401 yards -- the second-best rushing total in school history -- and 16 touchdowns. He was also the team's third-leading receiver with 181 yards on 18 catches.
