Four-Star quarterback Feleipe Franks from Crawfordville, FL recently spoke with Zach Abolverdi with the AJC.com to talk about his commitment to Florida and how solid he is with the Gators.

Franks, who recently flipped his commitment from LSU to Florida, will receive an in-home visit from offensive coordinator Cam Cameron to see if he can get Franks back to Baton Rouge.

The chances of that happening seem less likely, according Franks:

"I am pretty sold on Florida,” Franks said. "I didn’t really like de-commiting in the first place but I am going to do what’s best for me and my family. To get that out of the way, it really felt good."

Franks also added that he thinks Florida is the best place for him "to get developed at my position."

Sounds about right. The kid realized that he wouldn't develop as a QB under Les' tutelage and decided to jump ship.

If UF's offense resembles what Bama's looked like under McElwain then this guy made the right choice. He will be well prepared for the NFL. You can't say that about LSU. For whatever reason LSU CANNOT DEVELOP QBs. If I was a good QB I wouldn't want to come here either. I love LSU, but these are the facts.

There is soooo much fail here it isn't even funny. When his the last time Les developed a star NFL QB? He hasn't. J. Russell=BUST, Flynn=average at best backup, Mett=Mediocre. Top rated QBs weren't that good under WM, because of him. Brissett never got a true chance and left. Driskel has been good due to the lower level of play at La Tech. Mac/Nuss did more with Grier than Cam has done with any other QB. keep crying.

If it was Florida State I could see his point. Florida hasn't developed a real QB since Chris Leak, obviously not counting the FB/TE who couldn't cut it in the NFL.

Cameron has at least shown that he can field a dominant offense in the SEC when he has a QB to execute it.

Florida has taken top rated QBs and turned them into trash who can't cut it at the likes of LA Tech and NC State.

If it's development he's looking for, Florida is the very last place he should be considering.

Go watch those players in college and see how they've done. Cam hasn't done anything of note with LSU QBs. Mac and Nus had Grier and the offense light years ahead. Most Flacco won SB AFTER Cam was fired. He went 1-15 at Miami, LT and Antonio Gates had just as much if not more to do with the chargers success. Recruits only see now and right now UF>>>>>>>>>>>>LSU. AS for anyone saying UF hasn't developed qbs you would be correct until now, save for Treon who is garbage.
