Y'all really don't know this kid he is as nice as can be, and is also a very smart young man. He really isn't like other recruits he is as nice and humble as it gets. One time some random kid walked up to him and most kids would just laugh and not listen, but Clyde squatted down and payed full attention to this 5 year old and it was honestly amazing how a 17 year old kid acts so mature.

Recruiting has become a circus. It's made people salty about the entire process. It's easy to blame the kids being recruited, but are we not to blame just as easy? When a home state kid leaves for another school out of state it sucks. We as fans can't fathom the idea of wanting to play for an out of state school. Especially one dressed in Crimson! But I think about when I was a kid growing up in Avondale, La. in the 80's and I was a Notre Dame fan. They were always on t.v. and Tony Rice and Tim Brown and Ricky Waters were awesome to watch. As I got older my blood began to run purple and gold. So I do painstakingly understand when kids leave. The popularity contest that recruiting has become sucks though. Let's just give these kids a break and hope for the best. Geaux Tigers!

Three posts and all three idiots. These are great ball players that committed to us. Be happy they chose us. If they decommit, then so be it. It's a difficult decision and let them do what's best for them. Don't act like little girls IF someone happens to decommit. I'm very happy Clyde Edwards-Helaire decided to be a Tiger. He dominated Rummel in the state championship game and I'm looking forward to that at LSU.

What's with these kids with multiple last names?

Lol.... This don't mean anything at all. He'll decommit then recommit at least two more times. That's just the way things are. I've accepted it. I'm starting to view football recruiting the same way I view baseball recruiting, when it comes to these top prospects.

Can't wait to hear about his decommitment in order to have a signing day announcement.
