According to Nola.com, a source confirmed on Wednesday that former LSU guard Malik Morgan will transfer to Tulane. He will join his sister Kolby who signed with the Green Wave in November.
quote:

Morgan will sit out a year because of both the transfer rule and a blown out patella knee injury. That injury ended his sophomore season with the Tiger. He suffered the knee injury during the second half of the Auburn game on Feb. 12, 2014. He played in 21 games with six starts prior to injury. His best game of the season came against Butler on Dec. 1, 2013 when he hit 5-of-11 field goals, including 2-of-3 three-pointers with a season high seven rebounds and three steals, scoring a career tying high of 12 points.

Would he be able to practice with the team when he recovers? How does that rule work for transfers. If he wasn't hurt, would he still be able to practice with the team even though he has to sit out because of the transfer rule?

How serious is this injury? Will he be close to the player he once was?
