The USA Baseball Collegiate National team defeated Japan, 6-3, to win the championship game of the Haarlem-Honkbal Week at on Sunday.

LSU shortstop Alex Bregman was named the Honkbal Week Most Valuable Player.

Bregman is the fourth player from the United States to win the Jacques Reuvers Award, given to the Honkbal Week MVP, joining Chris Sabo (1980), Bobby Crosby (2000) and Ryan Jackson (2008).
