Becoming my favorite casual restaurant in the city!
by CE Tiger on 1/29/13
Have yet to have a bad meal here and if you can handle a little wait and a crowded hole in the wall, then the food will not disappoint. Go for Brunch if you want an even better meal.

I make it a point to stop here every trip to New Orleans.

Great selection of food. Nice neighborhood location, yet convenient to streetcar.

I saw this restaurant on Food Network and decided I had to try it out.
On vacations I normally use Guy Fieri to help me find places that are good yet unique.

Katie's is one such place here.
You got to try the Potato skins, they are the best. Even though its a simple non-NOLA dish; the do it well. But the signature appetizer is the best. The crawfish beignet... Just order it, words cant describe it at all. So good.

I tried the Boudreaux Pizza, I really liked it, loved the smoked couchon pork that they use, and the crispy cracker crust of the pizza.
This place is now in my regular rotation for lunch spots.
The prices were good, and the menu is so large you better not be in a rush when ordering.

Great neighborhood place
by TheOtherOne on 11/8/10
I grew up going to Katie's with the family. I was so excited when they were finally able to open up again just a few months ago.

The new pizza's are great, but I almost always go with whatever specials they are serving. The staff is also good at paying attention to what the guests need.

Brunch at Katies
by notiger1997 on 10/18/10
Had a great brunch at Katie's recently. I had the eggs cochon and my date at lemon pancakes.
Excellent cheese grits and bacon as sides.

Very good value and excellent service.

Thumbs Up!

Katie's location right behind liuzzas . Went there last night for the first time since they reopened a short time ago. Food was great. They have a new wood burning pizza oven and the pizza was great. Onion rings were to die for. Also had the veal alfredo and meatball poyboy which my other guests said were delicious. Andouille gumbo was good also. Patio outside is almost open. They said it should be ready in time for jazz fest!
