Consistent and wonderful
by tigerpop on 2/10/13
While in town for a conference I took 2 couples to the restaurant for the "experience". One couple was from DC, the other from Montana. They were not disappointed. Service was wonderful and food was spot on as usual. My "go to" restaurant for first time visitors to New Orleans.

Service is fine
by LSUnKaty on 11/30/12
I don't have a clue what some of these other comments are about. I've been to Brennan's many time and the service is always exceptional - two or three people waiting on you. Food is excellent also.

Take it for what it's worth when someone puts "FU Brennan's" in their review!

Worst service ever!
by JDMMonroeTiger on 2/3/11
This restaurant was an absolute joke. I dont know if the food's any good because we never got ours, and when I tried to find someone to complain to, nobody seemed to care. FU Brennan's!!!

Brunch
by lsuaudio on 1/18/11
Went for brunch. Food was great...no complaints there. The service, however, was lacking. We ordered the banana's foster of course and our waiter looked upset that he had to prepare it for us. He actually told us he hates when customers order it.
For the price, I expect better.

Not overrated
by Tiger Chad on 7/22/10
I had read that Brennan's was overrated, but what I had was outstanding. The shrimp sardue was plain awesome. Now we went around 10 a.m., but the service too was outstanding. I will definitely go again. It is a bit pricey.

Tourist trap but it's good!

Grits and grillades are good. Good bloody mary's and very good bananas foster. Every tourist should try it once.

Horrible Service
by RummelTiger on 3/23/10
The last time I went, which, unless they make some changes, will be the last time I go, the service and the atmosphere were horrible. The waiter barely spoke english and at one point told us to "guess' what was in our soups. Uhhh...no, I'm not here for a game show and a disease.

And since when did they start letting people in who are wearing shorts and flip-flops? I get that since Katrina the rules may have been relaxed a bit, but shorts and flip-flops in Brennan's?
