This place just opened by one of the former partners of Baru (I believe) and is still getting it's act together. I went in for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty empty except for one other table.
The staff was very friendly but not very knowledgeable about the menu - particularly the drinks...but I put the blame on that as they are still adding drinks to the menu. Also, they don't have iced tea of any kind.
I thought about getting some meat pies but decided I wasn't THAT hungry. I decided on the Mandarina sandwich and some fresh squeezed passion fruit juice. When it came out it looked kinda small but when I picked it up, that sucker was heavy (weight wise) and was quite filling. I'm glad I didn't end up getting the meat pies. The sandwich was very messy w/ the pink tomato aioli but was delicious. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich and said his was delicious as well. I'll definitely go back.
