USC linebacker Simione Vehikite was released from jail last week after serving a little more than three months for leaving the scene of a car accident. At the time, Vehikite was driving with a .08 percent blood-alcohol level. Vehikite pled no contest to two felony counts and was sentenced to a year in jail. Upon his release, Vehikite was welcomed back into the USC program by Lane Kiffin and put back on scholarship. HOWEVER, this reinstatement came at the expense of walk-on player Will Andrew who didn’t have his scholarship renewed. Kiffin said...
quote:

“They’re never granted longer (than a year),” “He was fortunate to have one for a year.”
What did Andrew say?
quote:

“Whatever the coaches ask me to do, I’ll do,” Andrew said. “The situation was out of my control.”

I hear there's a few players on death row he's getting a pardon for that'll be on the roster come spring time. I agree, Kiffin is all clASS!

Kiffin is trash. It has nothing to do with USC. Whether you like them or not, you have to admit that bring this LB back is classless.

“He was fortunate to have one for a year.” Love the way he put it. Jesus what an a-hole.

Pot meet kettle. Your QB was convicted of sexual battery on a woman, and kicked off Mark Richt's Georgia team. You pick him up after his debt to society was paid.

Hey moron, grabbing a bitches arse at the bar isnt the same thing as getting behind the wheel while drunk.

I love your comparison of our QB's debt to society (conviction -> sentence -> 2 years working your arse off at JC -> waiting a year to start -> finally getting to redeem yourself) to your LB's (drunk driving -> fleeing the scene -> early release -> Lane Kiffin waiting for you with the handcuff keys). Way to ensure us that even in your year between probations, thank you Joe McKnight, you're still a bunch of douches.

"Hey moron, grabbing a bitches arse at the bar isnt the same thing as getting behind the wheel while drunk."

1. Neither is a good choice.
2. Both are worthy of second chances.
3. If you think touching women where they don't want you
touching them is OK, you're not going to be a free man for long.

You're comparing misdemeanors to felonies. I think I'll take my lessons in chivalry from someone who knows how to tell the difference.

The point stands. Two college kids each made bad choices, both of them fueled by alcohol. Don't let your blind hatred of Kiffin remove every shred of your common sense. You were attempting to minimize criminal sexual battery on a woman. Sound like an intelligent, reasonable thing to do? For you maybe.
