The 5-foot-9, 190-pound junior from Lake Mary Prep (Lake Mary, Fla.) Ray Lewis III committed to the Miami Hurricanes Tuesday. Lewis is the son of Baltimore Raven's LB Ray Lewis. Coach Buck Gurley said...
quote:

"Ray told me that he felt like Miami was the best fit for him and if they offered him he was going to commit," "Once they made the offer he was set."

"I've had this discussion with Ray several times, as have his mother and father, so he understands the situation," Gurley said. "He's aware that there will be a lot of expectations, unfair expectations, put on top of him but he's a confident young man."

"In another interview you'll remember he said he was going to be better than his father, so you know he's confident if he's willing to say that in an interview."

Why Ray didn't give his son the name Lewis as his 1st name is beyond me...Larry, I'd pay over $30.00 for a coveted Larry Leo bobble head doll...Make it happen Double L.
