Former Ohio St. quarterback and now ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, closed his Twitter account this week after backlash from OSU fans. Herbstreit has been very vocal and critical about Coach Tressel and his team during their recent troubles with the NCAA. In a recent radio interview with WGFX 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, Kirk called it "asinine" that he needs to defend his allegiance to his alma mater. More and more we're seeing these broadcasters be openly biased in their commentating. And if you've seen him on TV anytime in the last year he has become extremely frustrated at OSU as well at the Big Ten in his broadcasts, not just Twitter.
