I'm pretty sure when brainstorming a poster for their girls’ basketball team, the Clarke High School Indians in Iowa had to have a couple of ideas better than this one. Their poster titled “Tribal Family” probably won't get the reaction they want from the Native American culture...

1) high school girls basketball teams get posters with that kind of production behind it? Damn 2) It is a cheesy idea, but it looks like they had some reverence for the group they were imitating 3) that's a cute girls bball team

We need more Indians like these. We've got all the fat angry SJWs we need.

What's wrong with it? Not being smart just asking a question. Isn't their mascot the "Indians"?

Misleading headline is misleading. On the face of the evidence presented, it looks like a single white guy is worried about what Indians might hypothetically do if they were as riddled with acute vaginitis as he is.

Once again, white sjws ruining race relations by getting offended on behalf of groups that probably don't give a shite.

Honest question, are any ACTUAL Indians upset? or just white-guilted SJWs?

I'm not sure what the problem is.

I wish the nation loved white people enough to name their team "The Fighting Whiteboys". But then the same SJW's protesting this poster would call the school racist for favoritism of white people. OH THE IRONY!!!

They do have such names. "Fighting Irish". "Spartans". "Trojans". "Vikings". These are all specific groups of White people.

and Notre Dame fans don't feel offended at all, even though a leprechaun mascot jumps around the field every game. The entire "offensive mascot" thing is manufactured. A very large majority of Native Americans aren't offended at all. That's simply a fact. It's a small, but vocal minority that is causing all this nonsense.

There is nothing wrong with this poster. Its actually really well done. And those are some of the prettiest Indians Ive ever seen. The Native Americans should be flattered that they respect their spirit and like them enough to name their high school mascot after them.

Yeah nothing says "we respect you" more than germ warfare, not honoring treaties and forcing people off their land into tiny reservations with limited resources.

@recruitnik is that what that poster says? jeez bro......lighten the frick up.

today, i learned that Clarke high school is engaging in germ warfare, not honoring treaties, and forcing people off their land into tiny reservations with limited resources.

I don't see the problem.

So should the ole miss rebels offend southern whites who may be descendants of confederate soldiers? Ironically it offends everyone but them, just like the people freaking out about Indian mascots are non Indians.

nice take!

this celebrates native Americans and their culture. Teams take pride in their mascots. Today, people want to be offended and look for any and every reason to gain, profit, and capitalize on whatever they can. Patriots, Texans, Nationals, Celitcs are all examples of how sport teams celebrate a culture, group, or sect of people. Whoever is offended by this, the school should tell them: Sorry, not sorry
