Here's Conor McGregor Sparring With A Professional Boxer
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
A former boxer named Chris van Heerden has released this footage of himself sparring with Conor McGregor in 2016...

Who knows where McGregor is in his training currently, but what do you think? You think he's got a shot against Floyd Mayweather in August?

This whole match and paid day should have been contingent upon them having a MMA fight in the future as well. Both sports represented, all fans happy, both fighters get paid.

Then Floyd and his big bank say "nah, I'm good". Floyd would never agree to that. He has ALL the leverage

If his training is sparring with other southpaw's he's in for a rude awakening when may weather starts throwing that lead straight right hand.

This video is a cut and edited 40+ second lowlight from a spar that lasted who knows how long. I could make a similar video against mayweather from any match he's had. Having said that of course Mcgregor is outclassed by mayweather as a boxer, using this video to justify by how much is pointless though

Also what is the context of this video? Was this after a training session and this other boxer agreed or was hired to spar, or were both men fresh?

He's going to get killed.

Hahahaha as great of a record Floyd has his knockout power and strikes are secondary for him. A lot of people will be shocked after this fight!!

He seriously might not touch Floyd

McGregor couldn't care less about winning. It's all about the $.

Lol only Conor is all about the $, not the other guy who carries around a mil in cash $ everywhere he travels?

McGregor is going to get embarrassed by Mayweather because they are in a boxing ring. I can't stand McGregor though, so I'll watch just to see his cocky arse get destroyed. If they were fighting MMA it would be the opposite result but McGregor is just making a huge payday. Can't blame him there but I still hope he loses some teeth for his trouble.

Not one clean shot will be landed by Mr. Mcgregor.

He will get crushed.

Puncher's chance. McGregor has power and Floyd hasn't fought in two years. I'll watch it.

Floyd never killed anyone. Always outpointed people but boring boxing to watch. No power.

Fighting McGregor will be the easiest money Floyd has ever made.

McGregor will be way outclassed as a boxer it's not even funny. But anyone can fall from a good punch on the chin so he can get lucky if he lands a good one. So either McGregor lands a lucky one and knocks out Floyd or Floyd dances his way to another victory. No way in hell McGregor wins a decision.

Best way to shift the money.

I'd fight either of these guys for way less than 100m......with no training.

This footage is really old btw... I don't know why this keeps getting recycled.

it's a little over a year old so it's not that old really and it shows how far he has to go to be even a decent boxer.

I agree. McGregor won't touch Mayweather but he's a much better boxer than people realize. This is all a money grab but McGregor outboxed Nate Diaz bad and Diaz spares on a weekly basis with Andre Ward.

Diaz is a better boxer than Conor. lol
