On Thursday, a group of Florida fans took out a taunting ad in an Athens-area paper, the student-run Red & Black.

You think papers should let other schools do this?

14 hours after the game, I think it's obvious that Georgia's mascot, UGA, was quickly paper-trained with this advert. Georgia absolutely dominated Florida, and UGA left a steaming "brown cigar" right smack int the middle of that page.

Congratulations, Bulldogs!

That's precisely how you should treat your rival. Well played, Gator fans.

I have 10 years experience with newspaper advertising…..if a group of people are willing to pay in advance for an ad…..and as long as the contents of the ad are not vulgar, contain graphic images, etc…..you really can’t stop them from advertising, even if you don’t agree with what they are advertising….
