USC has wanted L.A. Coliseum for quite some time and now it's theirs. The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission approved an agreement Monday to hand over day-to-day control of the publicly owned stadium to the Trojans. The school now obtains the master lease for the 88-year-old stadium, giving the university the exclusive right to use, manage and operate the facility. What closed the deal was commission members acknowledging last year they would be unable to keep their promise to USC to make $50 million in improvements to the aging facility.

USC and ESPN Radio have reached a multiyear deal to broadcast all of the Trojans' home games nationally. "To partner with ESPN Radio and have the USC brand distributed at this level is a fantastic opportunity to reach Trojan fans throughout the nation," "It is also immensely important that we will be able to reach our Hispanic fan base throughout Southern California with ESPN Deportes."
Tim McCarthy, ESPN Radio's senior vice president for play by play and talent planning, said...

"We have had a long relationship with USC which has proven to be an excellent one in many ways," "We will work closely with USC to develop ancillary marketing opportunities to touch USC fans everywhere."

USC's QB Matt Barkley is sticking around for his senior year and NOT entering the NFL draft. The QB said...
quote:

"This 2012 team has some serious unfinished business to attend to and I plan to play a part in it," Barkley said. "I have firmly decided to forgo the 2012 NFL draft and finish that."

"I am not postponing my dream of playing in the NFL just so that I can have one more year of college life," Barkley said. "I am staying because I want to finish what I started."
The dude should have left. Kiffin and company are not worth sticking around for.
