USC's Lane Kiffin has announced that visiting teams will not be allowed to hold walk-throughs at the Coliseum. Why? To preserve the field.
quote:

“We put a lot of resources into that field and what I’m hoping is that our fans are going to see the best that field has ever looked,” Kiffin said. “The problem with walk-throughs … you tear it up because people put cleats on and go on there.”
He went on to say...

“It shouldn’t be a big deal,” Kiffin said. “We don’t go to other people’s stadiums.”

On Tuesday, USC head coach Lane Kiffin was told that Arizona coach, Rich Rodriguez, voted the Wildcats #1 in the USA Today coaches’ poll. Kiffin responded with...
quote:

“I would not vote USC No. 1, I can tell you that.”
However, the problem is that Kiffin really did vote the Trojans #1. According to USA Today’s Brent Schrotenboer, each coach’s vote is normally kept confidential until the final vote of the regular season. But when a voter such as Kiffin “volunteers false or misleading information about his vote in public,” USA Today will publicly set the record straight. Kiffin tried clarifying with USA Today in a Thursday night phone interview, saying that he meant that he wouldn’t vote USC No. 1 if he were the media or coaching another team.

Kiffin is officially the world's biggest weenie.
