LSU Football
No. 2 LSU travels to Morgantown, WV, on Saturday to face the No. 16 West Virginia Mountaineers. The game, which kicks off at 7pm CT, will be televised nationally by ABC. This will be the second meeting between the two teams. LSU won last year's game, 20-14, in Baton Rouge.

No. 3 LSU (2-0) travels to Starkville tonight to face No. 25 Mississippi State (1-1). The game, which kicks off at 7pm CT, will be televised by ESPN. LSU leads the overall series 68-33-3.

No. 2 LSU (1-0) will face the Northwestern State Demons in Tiger Stadium this evening, with kickoff set for 7pm CT. It is the home opener for the Tigers, who are coming off a big 40-27 win over Oregon in Dallas. Northwestern State (1-0) defeated Delta State, 24-23, in its season opener last week. The Demons are led by Head Coach Bradley Dale Peveto, who served as an assistant at LSU under Les Miles for four years.

Steve Kragthorpe will be stepping down from his Offensive Coordinator position due to health issues. He will now be coaching QBs but will be involved in game planning. Offensive line coach Greg Studrawa will take over as interim offensive coordinator. Studrawa has previous OC experience at Bowling Green. Click here to discuss this on the Tiger Rant.
LSU will start the 2011 football season ranked No. 4 in the Preseason USA Today Coaches Poll released today. The Tigers received two first place votes.

Oklahoma is No. 1, followed by Alabama and Oregon, whom LSU will play in its season opener.
