GAME DAY: LSU versus Georgia No. 4 LSU (4-0, 2-0) travels to Athens, GA on Saturday to face No. 14 Georgia (3-1, 2-0). Kickoff at Sanford Stadium is at 2:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised nationally on CBS.

This will be the 28th meeting between the two teams. LSU leads the series with a record of 14-12-1. Georgia has won the last three meetings, including last year's 52-38 win in Tiger Stadium. Click here for the series history.

Last weekend, LSU defeated Mississippi State, 30-26, in Starkville, while Georgia beat Arizona State, 20-17, in Athens.

LSU outlasts Mississippi State, 30-26, in thriller Big plays and a late goal line stand gave No. 7 LSU a hard fought 30-26 victory over Mississippi State in Starkville.

LSU's defense came up big when it needed to, stopping Mississippi State at the four inch line on 4th down with less than two minutes to go in the game to preserve a 30-24 lead.

On the ensuing drive, LSU opted for a safety on the 4th down punt formation, which gave the Bulldogs one more chance. LSU was able to stop the Bulldogs on downs to earn the hard fought victory.

LSU improved to 4-0 (2-0 in the SEC), while Mississippi State fell to 2-2 (1-1 in the SEC).

Chad Jones was the player of the game, scoring on a 93-yard punt return in the 4th quarter, making 7 tackles and swatting down a sure touchdown on 3rd down during LSU's thrilling goal line stand.

QB Jordan Jefferson was 15 of 28 for 233 yards and two touchdown passes to Brandon Lafell.

GAME DAY: LSU versus Louisiana-Lafayette The No. 7 ranked LSU Tigers (2-0) play host to the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns (2-0) on Saturday, September 19. Kickoff in Tiger Stadium is at 6pm CT. The game will be televised on ESPNU.

Last Saturday, LSU defeated Vanderbilt, 23-9, in Tiger Stadium while ULL defeated Kansas State, 17-15, in Lafayette.

The Tigers own a 21-0 record in the series that dates back to 1902. The average score in the series is LSU 46, ULL 1. ULL has only scored one touchdown in the series. The two teams last played in 2006, when LSU prevailed, 45-3, in Baton Rouge.
