FORT WORTH, Texas (August 3, 2009) – The Davey O’Brien Foundation and its National Selection Committee are pleased to announce the 2009 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award® (The O’Brien) Watch List.
The 2009 list highlights 33 quarterbacks who will compete for the award honoring the nation’s best quarterback; however, all 120 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) starting quarterbacks are equal candidates at this time.
Many LSU fans will be disappointed to find the Tigers only ranked No. 5 in Dennis Dodd's Decade Rankings, posted yesterday. Who is ahead of the Tigers?
I have no issues with USC being No. 1. However, I believe both LSU and Florida should be ahead of Texas, and probably OU. Both schools won two BCS titles (Texas and OU only had one), and both played in a more difficult conference. What do you think? Discuss it here on this thread on the Tiger Rant message board.
