Arkansas defeated Virginia, 4-3, in 12 innings last night to stay alive at the College World Series. Virginia was eliminated.
Arkansas advances to play LSU on Friday at 1pm CT. LSU will be designated the visiting team. If LSU beats Arkansas, the Tigers will advance to the Best of Three Games Championship Series, which begins on Monday. If LSU loses to Arkansas, the two teams will play again on Saturday.

The schedule for the 2009 College World Series is now set, with LSU taking on the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday at 6pm CT. The game will be televised by ESPN.
