As Tommy Tuberville and his Cincinnati coaching staff were carefully watching the Bearcats’ fax machine for letters of intent they
got a surprise fax. Apparently, an intrepid Texas Tech fan faxed Tuberville the menu from the 50 Yard Line Steakhouse in Lubbock, the restaurant where he allegedly ditched a group of TTU recruits at a dinner the night before he was introduced as Cincy’s new coach.
