They can, doesn't mean they will.

There's quite a few teams that could beat any team in the country, lol.

Yeah your equation is seriously fricked up at this point in the season. Any chance you make changes to the equation next year?

My bad. I forgot that whenever USC has more losses than LSU, LSU should be ranked higher, no matter the fact LSU has beaten NOBODY.

Hold on, I'll go change my algorithm to make Tiger fans happy. That's the unbiased way.

I'm a positiger and I think we'll take bama - but the fact is, at this point, LSU has ZERO wins against Top 25 opponents. ZERO ZERO ZERO

whoa man.. lets not say they would beat everyone in the country when they are carrying a fricking loss.. to fricking Boise..

And we also have ZERO bad losses to teams with losing records. ZERO ZERO ZERO

We also have not had the absolute shite kicked out of us by 27 points. Not once this year.

Say what you want about your equation, I could give a frick, but to think USC actually deserves to be ranked ahead of LSU is laughable.

I expect this kind of response from peeps who don't want to believe or have insecurity (sec) issues. I am an LSU fan with an outsiders view. This just didn't happen or happen to have luck involved........the whole country saw what I just finished seeing. This team deserves (commands!!!!!!) some fricking respect!!!!

does your equation factor who a team loses to and the margin of said loss?

So if I dont think they would absolutely beat every team in America, that means I'm not giving them respect.

You've done lost your mind dude, lol.

I love how you guys are getting all worked up over a poll that means absolutely nothing as far as tomorrow's rankings go

Yeah debating things like this on a message board is idiotic, maybe what we need is a message board to debate things like this...oh wait

Doesn't count for much.

On the other hand, beating 3 top 25 teams does.

LSU's schedule will be tougher than USC's by the end of the season. At this point, LSU has beaten nobody important. Our best win is against #31 Auburn.

A win against #4 bama will propel lsu to the top 3

Not at this point in the season. Only wins and losses and strength of schedule matter now. See the TUba Top 101 Week 0 post for details.

Are you implying Boise St. is a "shitty" team? Their undefeated record is hardly worth an undefeated Florida or Bama or Texas or even Iowa - but they're hardly a "shitty" team

I was referring to USC being ahead of LSU

and are you saying if LSU beats bama then they jump into the top 3?

I dont know, but it seems like losing to a shitty team doesn't really count against a team in your poll either, lol.

Don't be silly, losses are not a true sign of a team's weakness and should have no bearing on how they compare to other teams

LOL.

You were the one that brought up the USC comparison and it's pretty obvious the thread continued with that. Why would you all of a sudden think he was talking about Oregon and not USC?

Its hard to argue that USC's schedule hasn't been far tougher than LSU's. They've played 4 top 25 teams so far. LSU has played one.

I promise you all, on the TUba Top 101, if LSU finishes with one less loss than USC, they will undoubtably be ranked higher.

The fact you guys can't see that LSU's accomplishments to this point are practically nil, is a bit disturbing. We have a great team, but have yet to distinguish ourselves.
