"Inherent contempt of Congress" =/= Contempt of Congress

Anna Paulina Luna's parliamentary maneuvering in her short time in Congress has been the stuff of legend.

Now, the question is - does Speaker Mike Johnson have the testicular fortitude to jail the Attorney General in one of the cells in the US Capitol dungeon level?

Cue the boo-birds and booger-picking nihilists who have nothing of substance to add to the conversation.

Anyone willing to go out on a limb and say his arrest is imminent?

Every last one of those crooked fricks deserves to be held indefinitely under the Capitol. Give them the same medicine they've dished out to the J6 hostages.

He'll have to check in with his pimp, Hakeem, first.

I asked Johnson, on X, if Hakeem makes him hold the inside of his pocket or just latch onto his jacket each day as he parades Johnson around the Capitol. Still waiting for that answer.

Republicans are cuck cowards, Garland literally is trying to lock up your nominee after 3 years of saying there wasn’t a crime but cave to pressured and his department got caught tampering with evidence to take down a fomer president and nominee.

But arresting him for his crime when he set the standard no one is above the law is too far.

Does it have to be the Speaker or can any member file an Inherent Contempt of Congress Charge? If so, turn her loose on the DOJ, including Holder!

The Dems will withdraw support from Johnson and he'll be gone within a weed if he even lends legitimacy to such an action. Dems own him; he's like tits on a boar hog, just there with no real useful purpose.

It is completely legitimate with precedent.

This is a way to hold people accountable, which hasn't been done for over 70 years

They will not and cannot.....I mean an idiot can try, but I would think that Garland or any cabinet level appointee would be protected by executive privilege and then there would no doubt be separation of powers considerations.

It's too bad republicans don't have the balls to do this, because democrats sure as hell do.

Totally agree, k...but if Johnson were to even acknowledge it, he'd then become the central figure re the action. And that would only paint him as a Dem enabler. He'll run from this like it is Ebola.

Stop, bruh. Anna Luna read the rules last night and Vox posted the video.

My cousin is in the Guard and said they’ve been called up due to likely unrest as Garland will be arrested.
