Might be a short rehab for Murph.

The overall approach is bad. Not working counts…I swear Short might be the best at it

Acuna and Ozuna are the only everyday guys that seem to routinely get a 4 or 5+ pitch AB.

LOL
He was just pitching for Gwinnett the other day and striking people out with knuckleballs.

Just got an alert about that. Tied to Ohtani

Lost count of how many innings we've had a runner on with 1 or 0 outs and fail to even move him over a bag.

I’m to the point where I expect nothing with runners on

Ozzie gets ahead 2-0 then chases a ball a foot outside before getting jammed for an easy pop up... sigh

Maybe Chadwick Tromp is our best hitter
Posted on 5/17/24 at 9:01 pm to Bayouboogaloocrew
Seriously... what the frick did Seitzer and Chipper do to the bats in the spring?
Posted on 5/17/24 at 9:07 pm to Broski
All bs aside…it’s mind boggling how an entire lineup falls off a cliff. From league leaders in hard hit rate to nothing but strikeouts and pop ups
Posted on 5/17/24 at 9:09 pm to Bayouboogaloocrew
I’m afraid if or when the bats do heat up, Iglesias will burn us. He’s not a true closer and rarely has clean innings
Posted on 5/17/24 at 9:12 pm to Bayouboogaloocrew
16 strikeouts
Arcia really fooled us that maybe his bat had turned a corner in April. There has to be a better SS available than him right now.

Put a bow on it. And I agree…Arcia was fools gold

I’m the dumbass though. I spent 3 hours on a Friday night watching this shite

Sandy Leon is stashed in Gwinnett right now for this purpose
Also, I wonder how long people are going to hold onto the "small sample size" garbage with this offense? We're almost to June and these guys couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat. When we're in August and Acuna has 12 homers and is hitting .240 (yes, outdated stat, I know...), are people still going to pretend that everything is just fine here?
