Why do broadcast show LSU 6-11 vs RPI top 50

Am I missing something? This was just shown on the alabama/ auburn game broadcast it said 6-11 vs RPI top 50

Maybe it’s top 50 at the time we played them? I don’t know, just guessing.

I think it was a typo which should’ve been Q1 opponents which I think we are 6-11 in. They were also showing our RPI as 31 and Ole Miss at 28 but our RPI is 29 now

Q1 is broken down in 3 categories:
LINK

vs. RPI Top 25 at home
vs. RPI Top 40 neutral
vs. RPI Top 60 away

We are 7-13 right now in Quad 1 games; it literally just changed from 6-11...been following. This is live RPI updating so it will change constantly.

The RPI Top 50 thing is a different metric, we look way better there (16-17).
