Help me out here. I don’t remember O getting a four year hall pass. I certainly don’t remember anyone thinking he should either.

Jay has a down year in the most competitive conference (and division) in college sports, but still has his team in position to make noise in the post season and has the #1 recruiting class coming in. Oh and by all accounts he works his dick off and understands baseball at a level very few do.

Anyone who’s mentally stable knew this team would have a better back half of conference play than first half. Don’t get me wrong, that first half was still awful, really awful. Those who announced the team dead in the water before the back half are sky screamers though. The final 5 series were always where this club could make a run.

Coach did a good job turning the team around. Last two SEC national championship coaches couldn’t get it done. He has.

Well he didn’t do a very good job this year. You can’t just go by one series or half the year.
